All too often you’ll hear people ordering fish at a restaurant or cooking it themselves believing that they’re eating healthy. Little do they know that most of that fish would have been farmed and mostly in south-east Asia with questionable sanitary conditions. Make no mistake, this is not a healthy fish fit for human consumption.
Even the fish that you get from 1st world countries are farmed fish feed all sorts of stuff I would rather not eat. Tasmanian Atlantic salmon or shell fish like Sydney oysters – no thanks; unfortunately but this is the reality.
So what fish to eat? Unless you find fresh wild caught and non shell fish – you have to go for canned variety of sardines and salmon however get the ‘wild caught’ where sardines I found are Canadian wild caught and Salmon is Alaskan wild caught premium red salmon, see the video here.
